THE PROJECTS SELECTED FOR THE 2021 ATLAS WORKSHOPS ONLINE EDITION ARE ANNOUNCED

The Atlas Workshops will take place online from 22 to 25 November 2021 with the support of the Moroccan Cinema Centre and Netflix, partners of the programme since its creation in 2018. The Marrakech International Film Festival's industry platform’s mission is to support a new generation of Moroccan, Arab and African filmmakers, and providing them with international exposure.

For this 4th edition of the Atlas Workshops, 15 projects in development and 9 films in post-production have been selected from the 250 applications received.

The Mother of All lies by Asmae El Moudir, winner of the Atlas Workshops Development Award in 2019 and the Post-Production Award in 2021, wins the Directing Prize at the Un certain regard section of the Cannes Film Festival.

Hounds by Kamal Lazraq, winner of the ArteKino International Prize in 2019, wins the Jury Prize at the Un certain regard section of the Cannes Film Festival.
